La "Résidence de l'Acacia"
Saint-André-de-Roquepertuis is a very old village, located in the south of France, called
la Provence Gardoise
The mild climate (practically all year round) means that you can walk and hike directly from our house: the garrigue, lavender fields and vineyards (vin de pays and Côte du Rhône), olive and fig trees… or you may be looking for a quiet spot in our large grounds: the Mediterranean light, a clear sky full of stars at night, the scent of the „herbes de Provence“ that grow around the house… here you can relax and let your mind wander.
Some of the „most beautiful villages in France“ La-Roque-sur-Cèze, Montclus, Aiguèze, Lussan) can be found right around St. André, which also has its own unique charm, with narrow streets lined with small stone houses covered in old tiles, beautiful flowers between the ochre-coloured stones and a few palm trees growing secretly in courtyards.

wild gorges, clear, fresh water (rich in fish stocks), rapids and waterfalls, a canoeing paradise, rocks and cliffs equipped for climbing, caves and avens and a pebble beach for fishermen and bathers. There are some impressive underground diving possibilities nearby: for example, the „Source de la Manarde“.

Here, in an old farmhouse, we welcome our guests who are looking for a „gentle“ form of tourism, in harmony with nature and compatible with the region. On a stroll through St. André or the neighbouring villages, with their picturesque, flower-filled lanes, you’ll meet the friendly locals who have kept their southern traditions and „l’accent du Midi“. You’ll find a collection of different apartments and studios.
We renovated the old building in reflecting the simplicity of the village, so do not expect a luxurious hotel, but an idyllic and beautiful spot for your holiday.

In the old house „Résidence de l’Acacia“, we have created several holiday flats of different sizes.
We have taken the decision to integrate modern comforts while keeping the simple aspect and respect for the traditions of the region so that you will find true relaxation and recuperation in our house.
Our meeting-room - "Grande Salle"
For shelter from the summer heat or rain, sit down with your friends in the meeting room under the large ancient stone vaults, a much-loved meeting place.
There’s also a TV, a library and a games room with a small pool table, table football, legos and lots of other toys.
terraces, barbecue and garden
The terraces and the pavilion in the inner courtyard are a great place to meet up. Guests sometimes spontaneously organise barbecue evenings. The idea of tasting the region’s fine wines together has often created lasting friendships.
If you prefer peace and quiet, you’ll find a quiet place all year round, surrounded by nature and Provençal vegetation on our large grounds.
For children and teenagers, there’s plenty of room for their adventures in the wilderness – away from the danger of the roads. We’ve seen big-city kids playing for hours with pebbles by the river or climbing trees… and it’s often them who ask their parents to come back next year to meet their new friends at the „Résidence de l’Acacia“.
The Pool
In the heat of summer, water is a favourite place for young and old alike. The swimming pool is there to refresh you – you can go for a real swim in the river just a few steps away. Loungers and chairs are available around the pool and in the wooded garden.
